One day Seminar / Workshop Series on U.S. Patents

The Seminar / Workshop series will address the Drafting and Prosecution of Patents post the recently enacted patent reform in the U.S. vide the America Invents Act, with Faculty speaking on the related technical, commercial and legal issues. FTO and patent infringement in the U.S. will also be discussed, and participants will be taken through differing FTO scenarios such that a comprehensive understanding is achieved.

This one day programme includes the following seminars:

• "BEST PRACTICES" APPROACH TO DRAFTING & PROSECUTING U.S. PATENTS(with reference to recent Fed. Cir. Case-law and the America Invents Act)
• INCREASING PROFICIENCY IN PATENT DRAFTING AND PROSECUTION FROM U.S. PERSPECTIVE
• FREEDOM–TO–OPERATE IN THE U.S.
• AVOIDING PATENT INFRINGEMENT IN THE U.S.
• FTO SCENARIOS – Workshop during which participants will address 20 different scenarios under faculty guidance.
